Knowing how to clean a laptop screen / lcd is very important because it is one of the most expensive components of a notebook or desktop computer and they are very sensitive to dust, fingerprints, or even when you cough or sneeze without covering your mouth and nose.

Second, look for a piece of soft cloth - former cotton handkerchief is not a problem, but do not try to paper towels, toilet rolls or even a bath towel because it will scratch your LCD screen permanently (acts like sandpaper or scrubber tool)
Turn off the LCD screen to see how dirty your LCD and use adequate lighting.
Preparation of materials for cleaning the laptop screen / lcd you other than a washcloth, you will need a deionized water or distilled water and vinegar or iso-propyl alcohol. Do not use tap water or mineral water can leave white scars on the screen because the mineral solution therein.
Mix vinegar with distilled water (1: 1) and spray it on a rag. Never spray liquid directly to the LCD screen. Dampen the cloth to taste and gently rub the LCD screen in one direction (left - right or top - bottom or vice versa)
Make sure that the LCD screen is dry before closing it or using it. Do not use materials containing acetone, ethyl alcohol, toluene, ethyl acid, ammonia, or methyl chloride. Never touch the LCD screen with your fingers as this may cause burning pixels.
